Kentucky Bluegrass Award Book Grants

KBA Book Grants

Attention Kentucky School Librarians

These grants are awarded annually to school libraries across Kentucky in an effort to put KBA books from the current program year into Kentucky schools that are financially challenged and unable to afford books to implement the program.

The winners will be selected based on the following criteria: expressed interest and enthusiasm in the program, willingness to promote the books and the program to the school and community, the need for financial assistance.

Books won are either purchased by Kentucky Bluegrass Award partners or supplied by the book publishers and must be housed in the winning schools' libraries so that they are available to all students.

To be eligible for a grant, the librarian or teacher applying must agree to participate in the Kentucky Bluegrass Award program during the current year.
