Gretchen Olson Accepts the KBA 6-8 Award

Gretchen Olson accepted the Kentucky Bluegrass Award for the 6-8 winner, Call Me Hope, at the KBA Luncheon on September 18, 2009, during the Kentucky Reading Association Conference. The conference was held at the Galt House in Louisville. Gretchen shares her heartfelt thanks to all:

Brian Selznick Accepts the KBA 3-5 Award

Brian Selznick attended the KBA Luncheon during the KRA Conference on September 26, 2008, to accept the Kentucky Bluegrass Award for his book The Invention of Hugo Cabret.

Students from James E. Farmer Elementary School and Hawthorne Elementary in Louisville were in attendance as was one student from the Model Laboratory School in Richmond. All had a great time.
